General Research Opportunities
We are always looking for highly motivated researchers at various levels of education. If you are interested in working with us as a volunteer, a BSc/MSc, or a Ph.D. student, please reach out.
We offer high-level training in synthetic organic chemistry as well as in spectroscopic methods (particularly NMR). Most of the research projects carried out by previous students of BS have already been published in high-ranked journals.
BSc and MSc Students
Every year a limited number of M.Sc. and B.Sc. projects are available, yet due to their specific nature, the prospective students are encouraged to reach out as soon as possible. Candidates with a high academic record and enthusiasm for synthetic organic chemistry will be favored in the selection process. The contact details of two academic referees (e.g. previous/current Teaching Instructors/Lecturers) should be sent by email to Bartosz Szyszko.
Ph.D. Studentships
Ph.D. positions will be advertised when funding is available. If you have your own funding and you are interested in doctoral studies under the supervision of BS, please contact him via email as early as possible. A limited number of Ph.D. positions funded by the Faculty of Chemistry are also available every year.
Summer / Erasmus / Visiting students
Visiting students at all levels of education interested in working under the supervision of BS should contact him as early as possible.
